Cookie Policy
Last updated: 31 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on boatpartypoland.com, why we use them and how you can manage your consent. We comply with Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that your web browser saves on your device (computer, phone, tablet) while you use a website. Among other things, they let us remember your settings, keep forms working properly and – if you consent – measure traffic on the website and show you relevant ads.
2. Controller
The controller of the data collected through cookies is the owner of boatpartypoland.com: [TO BE COMPLETED: full company name, registered address, VAT number]. Privacy contact: kontakt@boatparty.pl.
3. Which cookies do we use?
We divide cookies into categories. Necessary cookies are always set – without them the website would not work properly. All other categories are enabled only after you give your consent in the cookie banner.
| Category | Tool / provider | Purpose | Example cookies and retention period |
|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary (always active) | BoatParty (boatpartypoland.com) | Remembering your cookie choices, security and the operation of the booking forms. | tp_consent – 6 months; WordPress session cookies (only for logged-in administrators). |
| Analytics (with consent) | Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) | Anonymous visit statistics: number of visits, traffic sources, popularity of pages. | e.g. _ga, _ga_* – up to 2 years. |
| Marketing (with consent) | Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd.), Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.), Facebook “Like” plugin | Measuring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, remarketing, showing relevant ads on Google, Facebook and Instagram. | e.g. _gcl_au, _gcl_aw – up to 90 days; _fbp, fr – up to 3 months. |
| Functional (with consent) | BoatParty, Google | Remembering preferences and personalising content. | depending on the feature – up to 1 year. |
We embed YouTube videos in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) – YouTube may only set cookies once you start playing a video.
4. Google Consent Mode v2
We use Google Consent Mode v2. Until you give your consent, Google tools (Analytics, Ads) do not store analytics or advertising cookies on your device and may only send anonymised technical signals (without cookie identifiers). Once you consent, the tools work fully within the categories you have chosen. Refusing consent does not affect your ability to use the website or send a booking enquiry.
5. How can I change or withdraw my consent?
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time – click the button below or the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it was withdrawn.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). However, blocking necessary cookies may make the website harder to use.
6. Transfers of data outside the European Economic Area
Providers of analytics and advertising tools (Google, Meta) may also process data in the United States. Such transfers are based on the European Commission’s decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses.
7. Your rights
To the extent that cookies involve the processing of personal data, you have the right to access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing, port it, object to processing and lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (UODO). The legal basis for processing data from optional cookies is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), and for necessary cookies our legitimate interest in keeping the website working (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
8. Changes to this Cookie Policy
This policy may be updated, for example when the tools we use change. The current version is always available on this page.
